Enlarged heart and long-term back pain completely recovered with tummy fat gone

English

This old gentleman came to my clinic many years ago for his inability to lift his legs caused by high blood pressure and a mild stroke. He came to me again in 2008, when he was 66 years old, to treat his enlarged heart. He said his hands were usually numb, the areas between his thumbs and index fingers were painful, and there was also pain under his heart. When he sat down against the backrest, the back to his heart would feel discomfort and pain after seven or eight seconds, so he seldom sat against a backrest. His legs had been out of control a few years ago, but this had not happened recently. I pointed out these indicated myocardial infarction. His complexion was reddish, his palms were warm and his blood pressure was slightly high.

After drinking the medicine for the first week, his conditions had improved a lot. The pain between his thumbs and index fingers had improved 90% on the right and about 50% on the left, which were very good results. Numbness in both his hands had subsided more than 50%, and his blood pressure had returned to normal. At the first follow-up visit, the patient said after drinking the medicine, his head felt bloated and he wanted to sleep. His stool was watery and he defecated three or four times a day. His body did not feel hot. The urine samples he brought in were light yellow and orange.

At the second follow-up visit, the patient told me he had neuralgias in his insteps, and sometimes they felt a burning sensation when touched. These were caused by his nerves’ being pressed by accumulated stasis in his brain. His pulse paused every 3-4 or 5-6 beats, which indicated an intermittent pulse. He said this had lasted for a long time, indicating he had suffered from arrhythmia for some time. Enlarged heart or myocardial infarction could cause arrhythmia. The colours of his urine sample he brought the week before began to change. Three bottles turned light blackish green, indicating toxins were brought out from his liver. More than half of the urine samples had white calcified cholesterol deposits, which were plaques discharged along with urination after being dissolved from the walls of his blood vessels.

Pain under his heart went away

A week later, the pain in the lower part of the patient’s heart was no longer there, but when he sat down against the backrest, his heartbeat would accelerate within a few minutes. The muscles in his chest would also move up and down and he had to leave the backrest immediately for it to stop. However, compared with before, the condition had recovered about 50%. I stressed that the numbness and pain in his limbs were caused by his heart. His heart was weak, and blood couldn’t reach his brain, leading to insufficient blood supply to his nerves and blockage in his meridians. Although 90% of the pain in his insteps had subsided, he still felt a little unsteadiness when he walked and there was pain in the Yongquan acupoints on his soles. However, by the third follow-up visit, the pain had relieved a lot. I took his pulse and found his intermittent pulse had reduced a lot, a big improvement after accumulated stasis was discharged from his heart.

The patient continued to drink medicine and his heart problems had gradually improved. By the sixth follow-up visit, the amount of time he could sit against the backrest became longer and longer, lasted for half an hour, before feeling unwell. After a week, he could sit there for more than an hour. The numbness and pain in both his hands had also improved a lot. They had almost gone and what appeared was a feeling of soreness. The pain between his thumbs and index fingers had gone on the right and only a little on the left. The pain in his insteps had completely recovered, but when pressed, there was a bit more pain in the bones, still the problem of accumulated stasis in his brain pressing against his nerves.

At the 12th follow-up visit, white fat films were found in his urine, while on the walls of the bottles there were blood stains and at the bottom there were yellow-white cholesterol deposits. As we could see, after fat was continuously discharged from his liver, his liver function would improve. The patient said he slept and defecated normally, and the pain in the bones in his insteps had disappeared. The time he could sit against the backrest prolonged, but there was still discomfort from time to time.

For a period of time, the patient went on a business trip to Shenzhen and stopped taking medicine. As a result, his conditions regressed, with the pain between his thumbs and index fingers recurred, especially in his left hand, which was extremely painful when he put it into his pants pocket to get something. The discomfort when he sat against the backrest reappeared. After returning to Hong Kong, he continued the treatment and his energy gradually restored and conditions were not bad. The pain between his thumbs and index fingers reduced, but his heart still felt a little pressed and pulled from time to time. After this incident, I especially urged the patient not to stop medicine before he was completely cured.

Pain in the bones of his insteps 90% recovered

By the 15th follow-up visit, the uncomfortable area on the patient’s back had shrunk, compared with the pain that covered his entire back before. The feeling of his heart’s being pressed had reduced, and the pain in the bone in his insteps had also recovered 90%. The pain between his thumbs and index fingers had relieved a lot, with pain emerging only when the areas were pressed hard. His urine was all light orange. One of the bottles had pink heart cell precipitates, which was seen for the first time. In other words, blood stasis and dead heart cells (in the form of powder) had begun to be discharged from his heart. Because of this, he often felt tired and wanted to sleep, which was also a normal response of the body before the strengthening of the heart.

Recently, the patient defecated a lot of watery stools with a layer of yellow oil on it. Having excreted plenty of intra-abdominal fluids, he lost more than two inches in his waist size. At the 20th follow-up visit, he said his slept and defecated normally. The pain between his thumbs and index fingers continued to improve, with more pain on the right than the left. The pain in his insteps had not occurred for a long time, only when pressed occasionally, there was still a little pain deep inside. A week later, he did not feel as tired and wanted to sleep, the condition seemed to have gotten better.

At the 23rd follow-up visit, the patient’s voice was hoarse and I asked him why. He said when he went to a restaurant a few days ago, cold air blew on his back and he caught a cold. So that time, in addition to regular medicine, I also prescribed a cold formula for him. Meanwhile, the pain in the back of his heart had not caused much impact on his heartbeat or the feeling of discomfort. As a lot of stasis had been discharged from his heart, the blockage problem had also improved. As his heart strengthened, more stasis was brought out, relieving the pain in his heart and back. Two bottles of urine brought in were orange-brown and five were light orange, indicating his heart was still expelling stasis. After taking the cold medicine, everything returned to normal. At the 24th follow-up visit, his cheeks were slimmer and longer than before and he was filled with energy. He also felt the changes. Based on my experience, after the strengthening of the heart, more fluid would be discharged from the head, so the face would become slimmer and longer. When I took his pulse, his heartbeat slowed down only a few times, instead of pausing for a long time like it did before, indicating improvement in his heartbeat.

In the morning of the 26th follow-up visit, the patient called and said he discovered hyperemia, which he suspected a burst of blood vessels, in his right eye after waking up. He went to see a Western doctor who found his blood pressure was high and immediately suggested him to be admitted to the hospital for observation lest it would deteriorate into a burst of cerebral blood vessels. He refused and immediately came to my clinic. I told him not to worry, because his blood pressure had begun to go up since a few weeks ago along with the strengthening of his heart. Besides, the discharge of stasis from his brain and heart as well as the excretion of dead heart cells must be achieved with the aid of heightened blood pressure. Furthermore, when a large amount of stasis was discharged from the brain, some would be discharged through eyeball blood vessels, which looked like the burst of eyeball blood vessels. I told him to ignore it and it would improve in a day or two.

I took his pulse and noticed a breakthrough improvement. His heartbeat became even like normal, while previously, it paused seven or eight times in one minute. It had only been eight months since the start of the treatment and the results were not bad. With a normal heart rhythm, when the patient sat against the backrest, there was no discomfort at all with the disappearance of the pain point on his back, which was also a significant improvement.

Hemorrhage in eyes recovered

As expected, his eye hemorrhage completely recovered four days later and his vision was normal. However, when he had an eye test with the Western doctor previously, floaters were found in his right eye. At the 25th follow-up visit, the patient said for the previous few weeks, his head had been swollen. He had often dozed off and wanted to lie down and rest. I thought it was very likely that as his heart had been strengthened, more blood had reached his brain, causing the blood vessels to dilate and resulted in brain swelling.

At the 28th follow-up visit, the patient’s friend, who was a Western doctor, was very interested in learning about my approach of diagnosing illness through urine observation. He asked me for a few photos of cholesterol, fatty liver and urate for his doctor friend’s reference. His pulse was even, which lasted for three weeks. His doctor friend also checked his pulse and didn’t feel it irregular. Afterwards he listened with a stethoscope and heard it miss a beat only occasionally. I was sure that the patient’s myocardial infarction had been opened up so his heart rhythm had returned to normal.

A few days before the 37th follow-up visit, he called to say that when he was picking up a friend at the airport, he went to the toilet and discharged bright red blood in his urine. He panicked and I told him not to be afraid as it was only the discharge of too much stasis from his heart via his urethra. It turned out that in that morning, dead heart cells were discharged along with his urine, so the bottom of the urine bottle was pinkish. His urine in the afternoon contained a higher concentration of blood-coloured heart cells so it looked like fresh blood. After that time, this had never happened again.

Towards the end of the treatment, the patient’s physical conditions were getting better and better. There was one time he joined a tour to Yunxiao County, Fujian for investment inspection. During the tour, the local officials took them to famous spots and walked up a mountain 900 meters high to see the scenery. Though he panted a little, he was able to finish the journey, indicating his heart function had been enhanced and his enlarged heart had shrunk to normal. I was very happy for this. Enlarged heart would definitely come with back pain and arrhythmia. With no more back pain for a long time and the continuous discharge of a large number of dead heart cells, his heart had also shrunk to normal. For the illness of heart enlargement, there is no treatment in Western medicine shrink it back to normal.

At the fifty-second follow-up visit, the patient had a very good complexion. His liver had continued to discharge fat and toxins. In addition, due to a long-term diarrhea with the excretion of watery stool, his waist had shrunk a lot, by at least five or six inches. The tummy could be seen anymore. Those were the results of more than a year of treatment. His watery stool improved last week and was restored to strip-shaped. Due to the strengthening of his heart, the fluid in his face had been discharged, resulting in more wrinkles. Soon after, the patient stopped taking medicine upon satisfactory completion of his treatment. It was a very successful medical case. The patient was first diagnosed on 3 July 2008 and the treatment ended on 5 November 2009, spanning one year and six months with a total of 66 visits.
